A two-part exhibition presenting Poltrona Frau's work and Cappellini's celebration of his own design icons. Poltrona Frau Group is a high-end furniture sector comprised of Poltrona Frau, Cassina and Cappellini, and more. Poltrona Frau Group strives for excellence and product quality through continuous research and innovation in all phases of the production process, consistently designing products that exude Italian tradition and style. Giulio Cappellini the owner of the Italian design firm Cappelini is based in Milan. With Cappellini's open minded and curious approach he has explored very different cultures, materials and solutions. This exhibit explores design between imagination and reality open Tuesday, June 11 through Friday, July 12.

High Design Rugs by Italian design studio, Nodus is a limited edition collection of computer generated artwork, graphed and translated to a loom where each piece is hand knotted, producing intricate works with graphic impact. The Autodesk Gallery at One Market in San Francisco celebrates the design process that takes a great idea and turns it into a reality. With more than 20 different exhibits regularly on display showcasing the innovative work of Autodesk customers, the gallery illustrates the role technology plays in great design and engineering. The gallery is open every Wednesday from noon to 5pm with a guided tour beginning at 12:30pm. Located near the San Francisco Ferry Building and one block from the Embarcadero Station for BART and Muni, the Autodesk Gallery is easily accessible by public transportation.
