Experience Vision: Why it matters and how to create one
June 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
How do you create an inspirational north star for your users’ experiences that your team can rally around? The answer: an experience vision!
An experience vision is the aspirational world-class experience you want the users of your product or service to have; and it’s a north star for your organization to understand, rally around, and align with on a consistent basis. Without it, you risk churn, lack of motivation, and energy and resources being spent on ad hoc activities.
This workshop is for user experience design practitioners, leads who manage design teams and, product managers. From this workshop, you will be given a scenario and practice creating an inspirational “experience vision”. And then, learn how to activate it within your organization.
Attendees who complete the session will be given a signed copy of User Experience Design: A Practical Playbook to Fuel Business Growth.
Host: Sarah Khalid
Sarah is a User Experience Design Strategist at UXReactor. She is a Canadian living in New York City, and has worked at firms in LA, London, and Toronto.
Before Sarah designed digital experiences, she designed physical ones! Prior to UXReactor, she worked as a graphic, architectural, and urban designer, and helped design print material, buildings, cities, and even an island! Fun fact: one of her all time favorite urban spaces is Bryant Park in New York City.
Sarah is quick to point out that when you’re designing something for people-whether it be a graphic layout, building, urban space, or a digital experience-it’s crucial to incorporate a human-centered lens.
