Live Performance in Virtual Reality

NarrativeXR hosts a discussion with three experienced theatermakers on the future of virtual storytelling. Co-creator of OnBoardXR virtual reality festival Brendan A. Bradley will discuss what inspired him to develop an accessible platform for live performance. Playwright and teaching artist Mandy Canales (“Below the Barracks and Above the Sea”) will reveal the challenges and serendipities of adapting her work to VR. Jon Wai-keung Lowe (the Visible Theater, Wren Pirates) will share tips for creators to get started making new work with free digital tools.
