Event description

What role do designers play in building products that are human-centered, ethical, and inclusive? – How can we as designers and product teams react to the world around us?
In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, teams around Google have looked for ways to get engaged, using their technical and creative expertise to make products and experiences more inclusive.

Join us for a live discussion between Google designers, researchers and writers on how they are using inclusive product development practices in their work, talking through case studies and the hits and misses they’ve had throughout the past year. Through their work, get a glimpse into how teams at Google are tackling inequality during the research and creative process, from the initial strategy, all the way to launch.

This event will be an hour-long presentation followed by a 30min Q&A session. We encourage all who are interested in sign-up but acknowledge that there is a 150 person limit. Be sure to sign-up for the waitlist as we want to accommodate everyone who would like to join.
