Event description

Intuit QuickBooks uses world-class design to help power the success of small businesses and self-employed people around the world. Our designers are involved at every step of a project—from gathering insights, brainstorming, prototyping, and experimentation to launching pixel-perfect designs. Come join us at our Mountain View headquarters for a relaxed evening of informative discussions and an open studio walk celebrating the power of innovative, ethics-driven design.

6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Sip, Ship & Spin
Take in the Silicon Valley sunset and peruse design boards featuring some of Intuit’s latest AI work during this self-paced gallery walk on our inviting roof deck. Check out customer-backed design work from the QuickBooks Self-Employed team, and connect with fellow attendees and Intuit Design Directors. There will also be turntable tunes from our live DJs, complimentary cocktails, and light bites.

7:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Panel Discussions
Panel #1
Incorporating Company Ethics and Values Into Product Design Innovation. Join Intuit’s Vice President of Design, Leslie Witt, and other Intuit speakers for a thought-provoking panel and 20-minute Q&A session on how to maintain company ethics and values within a rapidly changing design ecosystem. They’ll explore the increasing importance of customer-first design, and share how aligning Intuit’s brand and design values continues to help small businesses thrive.

Panel #2
Financial Assistants – Unique Challenges and Opportunities
Chatbots and voice assistants are creating a more responsive, personalized relationship between businesses and their customers. Traditionally, companies have focused on sales and self-help, and the conversation has either been in a chat window or a voice device.

Come join some of Intuit’s innovative design thinkers for an engaging panel on how to blend conversation design, task completion, and insights to give our customers a next-level experience.
