Join author and illustrator, Kyle Webster, for a relaxing session of drawing exercises designed to calm the mind and open a pathway to creative expression. With only a pen and some paper, you’ll discover the meditative power of drawing, with no special talent or experience required. After this workshop, you will have several simple exercises you can use anytime to give your mind a welcome, healthy break from the hustle and bustle.

Kyle T Webster is an AIGA Fellow, and international award-winning illustrator living in North Carolina. He has drawn for The New Yorker, TIME, The New York Times, Scholastic, IDEO, and many other distinguished clients. His illustration work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, AIGA, Communications Arts, and American Illustration. His digital brushes were the first to be officially licensed by Adobe for inclusion in the Adobe library of brushes for Photoshop and Adobe Fresco.
Kyle currently works as a Senior Design Evangelist at Adobe, and also teaches Life Drawing, Portraiture, and Digital Painting at the UNC School of the Arts. His picture book, Please Say Please! was published in 2017 by Scholastic. His most recent book, Trace, was published in October 2019, in partnership with Baron Fig in New York, and it promotes the act of meditative drawing and tracing through a series of over 60 stream-of-consciousness drawings in an interactive notebook.
