Cultivating a sense of connection to the built and natural world, expressed in rugged natural materials and sustainable planting, is at the heart of landscape architecture firm Surfacedesign’s philosophy. Acclaimed design editor Zahid Sardar joins the notable San Francisco-based firm’s partners James A. Lord and Roderick Wyllie in a new webcast series, “SPOTLIGHT WITH ZAHID SARDAR” to discuss how the site itself informs their dynamic solutions and how they challenge conventional approaches to landscape. During their conversation, they will explore Surfacedesign’s broad-ranging projects from dynamic parks, and civic landscapes, to private gardens.
