What are the long-term tradeoffs for running a sustainable city? How do you actively engage residents in a 30-year plan for transportation, housing, the economy, and the environment? Join Exygy and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Association of Bay Area Governments (MTC/ABAG) for a panel discussion of the civic engagement game, The Mayor of Bayville.
The panel will share how the game successfully supplemented traditional community outreach—public workshops, farmer’s markets, libraries, and school pop-ups—through digital channels. Learn how the team used colorful graphics and a sense of humor to translate dense government jargon into a human-centered narrative that entertains and educates on local policies that affect our cities.
