- June 22nd
- 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
We will discuss different aspects of pursuing a career in Interaction Design, with a special focus on creating great portfolios. You’ll hear from hiring managers on what they expect to see in portfolios, and you’ll be able to ask questions.
At the beginning, we will gather briefly to meet and greet each other and then break out into smaller online rooms for the portfolio review session. In each room, experts will review portfolios for 45 minutes and provide feedback and recommendations. Everyone in the room will hear the experts’ feedback and will get insights into what hiring managers are looking for when reviewing portfolios and hiring for a UX role. After the review session, we will reconvene for a 30-minute panel discussion and Q&A.
Submit your portfolio for review here https://forms.gle/WCsLmXskgNMHzK2KA (after you register).
We will randomly pick portfolios for review, and you will receive email notification if your application is selected.
Even if your portfolio isn’t reviewed during the event, you will greatly benefit from attending the review sessions and hearing feedback about others’ work!
