Join us for an evening of music and storytelling with a musical ensemble comprised of designers. In between songs, you’ll hear stories and conversations about design passions and side hustles between Everett Katigbak (currently the first Creative hire at Anthropic, and former Executive Producer and Designer at Stripe, Pinterest, and Facebook) and Paula Marengo, designer and two-time finalist in the Eurovision Contests, in Spain and Switzerland, is known for her versatile and elegant repertoire.
ABOUT Paula Marengo Ensemble:
Paula is a talented Jazz singer hailing from southern Spain, with a professional career in music. Having moved to the United States one year ago, she’s partnered with veteran Bay Area musicians Everett Katigbak (guitar), Kenan O’Brian (bass), and Cairo Mccockran (drums) to form a new group playing Bolero, Bossa nova, Chanson Française, Swing, and more, all in a wide range of languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Paula Marengo, who was a two-time finalist in the Eurovision Contests, in Spain and Switzerland, is known for her versatile and elegant repertoire.
Everett and Paula are also professional designers—Everett has been on the ground level, building the brand voice of some of the most innovative companies, including Stripe, Pinterest and Facebook and Paula has produced work globally for a number of organizations and brands before arriving in San Francisco.
