Glassdoor San Francisco
Glassdoor
Moving their global headquarters from Mill Valley to San Francisco, Glassdoor gave it’s Bay Area employees a central location that better represented the firm’s fun, vibrant culture and showcased their company values. Tasked with shaping two floors of a 1960s-era 24-story International style high-rise, VDT’s architects, interior designers, and Media-Objectives studio collaborated to integrate architecture, furnishings, and graphics into a cohesive whole. Based on an extensive research process, the design utilizes a unique color palette, custom interactive art installations, distinct flooring materials, and signage to align the space with the company’s needs and ease wayfinding. The design celebrates the office’s new San Francisco location with murals by local artists and includes a hidden speakeasy as a space for employees to socialize.
