Dayz: The Future of a Day

Dayz is a mixed reality experience using smart-glasses technology to open new possibilities for our advanced all-in-one home experience from remote working to socializing and leisure activities. The COVID-19 pandemic has made us spend most of our time at home, blurring the line between our workspace and home space. Due to the pandemic, what was intended as a space to gather, socialize, play, and rest became a workspace—virtually overnight. This new reality changed various aspects of our lives, from concrete aspects such as the physical places we used to frequent to the more abstract aspects of our work experiences, methods of communication, and, ultimately, our diverse ways of thinking. Dayz assists people’s physical and mental health by utilizing a mixed reality, which blends the physical and digital worlds by incorporating elements of both real and virtual spaces. Dayz questions how the new normal looks and redefines our working and learning cultures.
