Diane Dorrans Saeks is a best-selling California- based author, editor, blogger, Instagrammer and teacher/instructor, design lecturer, and feature writer who focuses on interior design, architecture, style, gardens, travel and fashion.

Diane is the author of 22 books on interior design, architecture, travel, and style, including recently JEAN-LOUIS DENIOT INTERIORS along with ANN GETTY INTERIOR STYLE, and ‘Michael S. Smith Elements of Style’ as well as ‘Orlando Diaz-Azcuy’ all published by Rizzoli.

She the San Francisco-based editor for C magazine (California style). She is a contributor to Harper’s Bazaar, the New York Times, Traditional Home, Gentry and others.. She is the longtime contributing editor for PaperCity, Houston and Dallas. Diane is a contributing editor for House Beautiful. Diane is the San Francisco correspondent for WWD and wwd.com. She has been a popular instructor in design and architecture for California College of the Arts, and an instructor on design, antiques, art and interiors for UC Berkeley Extension. She launched her highly successful niche design/style blog– THE STYLE SALONISTE in summer, 2009.
