Design Challenge: AI character re-design

June 6 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

What if the Terminator was a friendly brainstorming assistant rather than a cyborg of mass destruction? For decades, AI characters have proliferated in film, television, literature, and other forms of popular media. These AI characters are not always evil or malicious, but their interactions with humans could often be improved. They could benefit from a re-design.

Together, we will imagine and re-design ethical Generative AI experiences by exploring the interactions of the most notorious AI characters. Working in teams, participants will transform less-than-pleasant interactions with AI movie characters into user-friendly experiences. Each team will not only re-design each character, they will improve the overall interaction experience with that character. Each team will then present a prototype (visual, interactive, storyboard, performance, etc) to demonstrate their results.

The best character re-design, wins! Join the IBM SF design community for an afternoon of innovation and friendly competition.
