Join California College of the Arts (CCA) and CCA’s Design Division’s Fashion Faculty members Greg Climer and Zoe Cobb for a hands-on embellishment workshop at CCA’s new campus, where creativity meets craft to celebrate local design and making. This two-hour session invites you to create a one-of-a-kind embellished t-shirt or to apply the same techniques to a personal garment ( e.g., a basic tote bag or a sturdy button-up shirt).
The workshop includes demonstrations and guided instruction on a range of techniques:
All tools and materials are provided, including a high-quality cotton t-shirt (sizes requested during registration). Guests are also welcome to bring a basic cotton tote-bag or a sturdy shirt of their own to customize.
Workshop Fee: $30 per person. Attendees will leave with a custom-decorated shirt using heat press and chain stitch embroidery!
