The Artist’s Anxieties How creatives can survive (and thrive) in the AI Revolution

June 6 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Is AI the new artist? Instead of answering that question, creative coach, entrepreneur and art collector Sonya Yu discusses what’s lost during the creative process when generative computers replace human hands, hearts, and minds—and how creatives can move from a place of anxiety to empowerment in the nascent AI revolution.

If you are an artist or creative nervous about AI and ChatGPT will impact your practice and livelihoods; entrepreneurs and collectors committed to supporting creative practices while embracing innovation then this event is for you!

Sonya is the founder of Four One Nine, a creative ecosystem that is focused on cultivating culture and artists in San Francisco and beyond. Her personal mission is to cultivate local creative communities and ignite positive social change by championing artists and their visions. She serves on the nonprofit boards of SFMOMA, The Hammer Museum, and is an active member of the Dia Women Committee.

Four One Nine is a creative ecosystem, studio and agency based in San Francisco, founded by Sonya Yu. Our artistic programming and creative offerings serve as connective tissue that brings people together and unusual ideas to life — so community and culture can thrive.
