Sustainable lighting manufacturer Gantri will open its SOMA studio to showcase and celebrate Bay Area designers and their work. There are two components to this event:

Gantri Summer 2023 Independent Creator Release

As a central focus of the event, the lighting brand will be introducing its newest Independent Creator Release collection of 3D printed designs made from plant-based materials. Each year, Gantri’s ICR provides a platform to support emerging design talent. The summer collection comprises a range of versatile table and wall lights designed by Joey Zeledon, Romulo Temigue, Simon Schmitz, and BEBOP.

Bay Area Made: The Locally Crafted Home

Gantri’s lights will be displayed in an installation curated by Bay Area Made, a collective of values-driven makers around the Bay. “Bay Area Made: The Locally Crafted Home” will be styled as a living space with different vignette-style environments showcasing products from over 30 of the Bay Area’s finest makers, including established and emerging names such as Heath Ceramics, Biome, Model No, FYRN, Concreteworks, and many more.
