Janet Tam, FAIA, is a founding partner and the current CEO of Noll & Tam Architects in Berkeley, CA, a 43-person firm that has been in practice for 28 years and has majority women staff. Janet is a licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional with a BA and MArch from UC Berkeley. Janet’s work focuses on the design of projects in the public realm striving to make a visible and positive difference within their communities. She has led dozens of community projects in some of the most diverse municipalities in California. Janet’s almost 40 years of practice have been dedicated to helping translate diverse community aspirations and experiences into architecture for the common good.
