CALL FOR APPLICATIONS:

Submit a Community Event proposal, Public Art submission, Installations or Exhibition to engage attendees during the festival!

DEADLINE:

Applications are open for submission until April 25th, 2025 

IMPORTANT DETAILS

  • Read our FAQ before applying
  • Our selection committee will award submissions based on unique offerings, valuable content for attendees, relevant and current insights into design in the Bay Area
  • Approvals or Denials: You will receive a notice via email from: Check your email inbox for events@sfdesignweek.org for status of your application or if we have any questions. Status emails will be sent within 2 weeks of submitting your application.
  • If you do not hear from us within 2 weeks, or if you have questions, Contact Us
  • Preferred dates and time are awarded to applicants on a rolling basis.
  • Only complete proposals will be accepted. All information submitted on your form will be used to build your event page.
  • Changes to event description after the event has been published to the calendar may incur a $75 fee. The editing fee is triggered when an applicant makes a significant change to their event such as the event title or event description after it has been published to the calendar. Changes to speakers or panelists will NOT incur the fee.
  • Our festival strives for inclusivity and community. Please contact us if cost is a barrier for your business or non-profit or as an individual.

By submitting this application I agree to carry my own event, liability and property insurance. I agree to follow all city, state and federal laws including having all necessary event permits or licenses. In the event that alcohol is served at the event, I understand that I am responsible for attendees and will check IDs at the door and not serve to minors. I agree to cover or lock up any sensitive or valuable material or items. I agree to not hold San Francisco Design Week or Design Bay Area liable for any and all claims. I carry my own liability insurance.

Photography/Filming

By submitting this application I agree that SFDW may film or photograph during this event for the purpose of marketing and promotion of SF Design Week.

Changes After Submission

By submitting this application I agree that all of the information on this form (except for private contact info) will be used for the online event listings and changes after submission may incur an additional fee. By submitting this application I understand that I will be added to the San Francisco Design Week mailing list and can unsubscribe at any time.
