High school students, community college students, and anyone else interested in design are invited to DESIGN 101, a 2-3hour workshop where participants will explore the principles of design through a hands-on session. DESIGN 101 will start with a brief introduction to design principles. Participants will rotate through several activities including virtual reality world building, design principles button making, and low-fidelity prototyping. These activities are aimed at individuals considering a design education in the future, curious folks looking to explore design activities, employers looking for a pool of potential candidates for future job openings, and anyone curious about the SFSU design school, our resources, and our faculty.
