Design 101

June 6 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

High school students, community college students, and anyone else interested in design are invited to DESIGN 101, a 2-3hour workshop where participants will explore the principles of design through a hands-on session. DESIGN 101 will start with a brief introduction to design principles. Participants will rotate through several activities including virtual reality world building, design principles button making, and low-fidelity prototyping. These activities are aimed at individuals considering a design education in the future, curious folks looking to explore design activities, employers looking for a pool of potential candidates for future job openings, and anyone curious about the SFSU design school, our resources, and our faculty. Come to SFSU School of Design and see the incredible talent and resources that we have to offer.
