Into the Metaverse: Speculating on the future of illustration

During this conversation, Brooke Hopper will discuss how the metaverse could enable more tactile experiences for digital illustration, enhance accessibility for all creatives, and address attribution issues with re-mixed and re-contextualized content. Brooke will also examine how artificial intelligence and machine learning can be used for good to enhance the creative process.

    Manual and the Eames Institute are introducing The Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity, where the lessons Ray and Charles are brought to life for a new generation willing to explore the “boundaries of problems.” The panel discussion will include the foundational story of the Eames Institute and an inside view of the collection that contains thousands of artifacts collected by Ray and Charles. The Manual team will present how the brand identity came to fruition and the panel will share perspectives on the implications for how we design for tomorrow before opening the discussion to attendees.
