Located in the historic Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, Fletcher Studio is housed in the American Industrial Center which was a former cannery with sewing and warehousing facilities tied to the area’s early maritime economy. Today, the AIC houses an eclectic and vibrant mix artists, craftspeople, photographers, designers, technologists, chocolate makers, bakeries, stylists, and a rock climbing facility. Our workspace is designed to inspire and support design thinking and collaboration. Large conference room screens, white boards and resources are placed in various gathering spaces to inspire thoughtful ways of working together. The space also functions as an open gallery, with the studio’s collected (& self generated) art pieces throughout. The studio is a product of lessons learned during the height of the Pandemic regarding design communication and technical coordination. The team continues to hone and improve the organization and function of each space, based on the needs of the group.
