Square, Inc.

You’ve just taken a bold leap and decided to start a business. Square wants to celebrate that risk – while putting you in a better cash flow position to grow and run your business – which is why we designed the new Square Card to be the first seller-centric business debit card. The matte white card celebrates a seller’s identity by displaying their laser etched signature and business name on the front face. This card is all about you and your business. That’s why the only Square logo found on the card is a gloss overlay that’s only visible in the right light. And why we feature the network logo exclusively on the back of the card – the first business debit card to do so.

Ordering the card is free, spending with the card is free, and there’s no application process –it all takes place within the seller’s Square point of sale app. For small businesses, fast access to funds is crucial. With Square Card, you can take a payment and spend those funds immediately to run your business.

About the organization

No one should be left out of the economy because the cost is too great or the technology too complex.

So we’re building easy tools to empower and enrich people. Tools that shorten the distance between having an idea and making a living from it—because we believe in fair and square.

We started with a little white card reader but haven’t stopped there. Our new reader helps our sellers accept chip cards and NFC payments, and we have tools for customers too, like our Cash App, which lets people send money to friends and family instantly.

We’re empowering the electrician to send invoices, setting up the food truck with a delivery option, helping the clothing boutique pay its employees, and giving the coffee chain capital for a second, third, and fourth location.

We’re here to help sellers of all sizes start, run, and grow their business—and helping them grow their business is good business for everyone.
